Fans at Friday's league battle between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC), saw Pinecrest's soccer squad knock off Richmond by a score of 3-0.

The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Hough tipped Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 8-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Richmond will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bucks enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 6-2 league loss to Lee County (Sanford, NC).
