The Jefferson Mustangs soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Burbank Bulldogs to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Brackenridge for a 5A Region 4 District 27 bout on Monday, March 10. Jefferson will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Burbank moves to 1-15 on the year. The Bulldogs host Seguin (Seguin, TX) to play the Matadors in a 5A Region 4 District 27 bout on Monday, March 10. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Seguin lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Highlands (San Antonio, TX)
