The Burleson Elks soccer squad scored 1 points and held the host Seguin Cougars to 0 in the Elks league victory on Friday.

The Elks now hold a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a 5A Region 1 District 8 bout on Tuesday, March 11. Burleson will play a Spartans squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Everman (Everman, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Seguin moves to 4-15 on the year. The Cougars travel to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX) to play the Wolves in a 5A Region 1 District 8 bout on Tuesday, March 11. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Mansfield Timberview won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
