Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Cinco Ranch moves its record to 9-10 on the campaign.

The Mavericks now sport a 3-15 record. They take the field next when they host Seven Lakes for a 6A Region 3 District 19 test on Monday, March 17. Morton Ranch will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 league win over Tompkins (Katy, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 10-4.
