The Grapevine Mustangs soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Richland Royals to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Midlothian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 11. Grapevine will play a Panthers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Richland moves to 9-9 on the year. The Royals travel to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region 1 District 6 bout on Monday, March 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Colleyville Heritage won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX)
