In Friday's non-league game, the host Terry Sanford Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 9-2 win over the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, West Brunswick was overwhelmed by East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 6-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Golden Bulls play the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a game, on Tuesday, March 11. E.E. Smith will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
