The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) and the host Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), saw Southeast Guilford's baseball team gain a win over Grimsley by a tally of 9-5.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Northern Guilford held off Morehead (Eden, NC), 17-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Whirlies face the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Grimsley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 14-12 non-league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
