Cardinal Newman Crusaders (West Palm Beach, FL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Belen Jesuit Wolverines (Miami, FL), 14-7 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Cardinal Newman advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Vero Beach (Vero Beach, FL) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. The Indians come into the game with a record of 4-3.
The Wolverines now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to American Heritage for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 11. Belen Jesuit will play a Stallions team coming off a 9-8 league win over King's Academy (West Palm Beach, FL). The Stallions record now stands at 5-3.
