North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Clayton overwhelms Union Pines

The Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) lacrosse routed the host Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), 12-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Comets now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a non-league outing on Monday, March 10. Clayton will face a Huskies squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Union Pines falls to 3-1 on the year. The Vikings host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a United 8/All American/Sandhills outing on Monday, March 10. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Terry Sanford lost 17-16 in their recent league outing against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)
