The Valhalla Norsemen held off the host Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders lacrosse team by a tally of 8-7 in Friday's non-league match.
Next up, the Norsemen confront the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont match, on Monday, March 17. Valhalla will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
The Crusaders (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Foothills Christian was tipped by Olympian (Chula Vista, CA), 10-7, in a non-league match.
