Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA) and the host John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA), saw Trinity Christian's soccer squad hold off John Milledge Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Bulloch Academy was edged by Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 6 battle, on Tuesday, March 11. John Milledge Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 10-0 league win over Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA).
