The Robinson Rockets edged the host Connally Cadets soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Rockets face the Marlin Bulldogs (Marlin, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 23 game, on Tuesday, March 11. Robinson will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 3-11 record after their 4-1 league win over Harmony Science Academy (Waco, TX).
The Cadets (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Black Cats enter the 4A Region 3 District 23 game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Mexia held off Marlin (Marlin, TX), 3-2, in a league game.
