In Friday's league outing, the visiting Highland Park Scots soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Newman Smith Trojans.

The Scots (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region 2 District 12 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Reedy by Turner (Carrollton, TX), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Trojans play the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 12 outing, on Tuesday, March 11. Newman Smith will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 3-15 record after their 6-1 league win over The Colony (The Colony, TX).
