In Friday's non-league test, the Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) softball squad got by the visiting Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Westwego, LA), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Penguins meet the Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 8. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 12-11 non-league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA).
