Texas High School Softball - Amarillo gets by Caprock

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), observed Amarillo's softball team get by Caprock by a tally of 6-5.

The Sandies (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Westerners go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record.

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) in a bout, on Thursday, March 13. Caprock will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 13-4 league win over Plainview (Plainview, TX).
