The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) and the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, TX), observed Anahuac's softball team prevail over Warren by a tally of 17-0.

The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Buccaneers go into the 3A Region III District 22 bout with a 13-6 record. In their last bout, East Chambers was routed by Orangefield (Orangefield, TX), 8-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Kirbyville Wildcats (Kirbyville, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Warren will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Kountze (Kountze, TX).
