Texas High School Softball - Troup bounces Arp

March 7, 2025: Arp, TX 75750

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) and the host Arp Tigers (Arp, TX), observed Troup's softball team get by Arp by a tally of 8-3.

The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against Gladewater (Gladewater, TX). The Bears go into the 3A Region II District 16 bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Gladewater tipped West Rusk (New London, TX), 15-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. Arp will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 14-3 league win over Sabine (Gladewater, TX).
