The Bald Knob Bulldogs overwhelmed the visiting Palestine-Wheatley Patriots softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 10. Bald Knob will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Warhawks go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, AR).
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hazen (Hazen, AR). The Hornets go into the 2A Region 6 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Hazen was routed by Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR), 22-12, in a non-league challenge.
