The Cardinals (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Westgate was nipped by Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA), 17-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Merryville Panthers (Merryville, LA) in a 1A District 5 match, on Tuesday, March 11. Basile will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Pickering (Leesville, LA).
