The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) and the visiting Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), observed Bells's softball team notch a victory over Howe by a final score of 11-1.

The Panthers (13-1) will now prepare for their bout against Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 11 bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Leonard was routed by S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX), 16-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 bout, on Friday, March 14. Howe will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 13-3 league loss to Gunter (Gunter, TX).
