In Friday's non-league test, the Cleveland Panthers (Cleveland, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cold Springs Eagles (Bremen, AL), by a tally of 9-3.

Next, the Panthers meet the West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL) in a 2A Area 10 test, on Tuesday, March 11. Cleveland will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 5-2 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Victory Christian (Pell City, AL).

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Aggies go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Fairview was routed by Good Hope (Cullman, AL), 10-0, in a non-league test.
