The James F. Byrnes Rebels edged the visiting Clover Blue Eagles softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels play the Wade Hampton Generals (Greenville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Monday, March 10. James F. Byrnes will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Eastside (Taylors, SC).
The Blue Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
