The Galena Park Yellowjackets softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Westbury Huskies to 1 in the Yellowjackets league win on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ball for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Galena Park will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Westbury moves to 1-5 on the season. The Huskies host Austin (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Friday, March 21. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 1-4.
