The Lone Star Rangers softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Highland Park Scots to 1 in the Rangers league win on Friday.

The Rangers now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Creekview for a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, March 11. Lone Star will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 20-7 league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Highland Park moves to 3-8 on the season. The Scots host Turner (Carrollton, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 7-2. Turner won 6-1 in their recent league battle against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)
