The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) and the visiting Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), observed Keller Central's softball team get by Northwest by a tally of 11-6.

The Chargers (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Bell (Hurst, TX). The Blue Raiders go into the 6A Region I District 3 bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Bell was routed by Northwest (Justin, TX), 15-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Texans clash with the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 7-6 league win over V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX).
