In Friday's non-league test, the Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL), by a tally of 14-1.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Houston County Lions (Columbia, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 10. Long will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Dale County (Midland City, AL).
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Cottonwood was routed by Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 6-5, in a non-league test.
