With the triumph, Manteo upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Redskins host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to play the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A game on Tuesday, March 11. The Aces enter the game with a record of 3-1. Holmes lost 20-9 in their recent non-league game against Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC)

The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Cape Hatteras for a non-league game on Monday, March 10. Northeastern will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 15-10 non-league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-1.
