Ben Bolt Badgers (Ben Bolt, TX) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Runge Yellowjackets (Runge, TX), 12-0 in a non-league game.

The Badgers (3-6) will now prepare for their game against San Isidro (San Isidro, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Yellowjackets play the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 16. Runge will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Randolph (Universal City, TX).
