The Hillside Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting E.E. Smith Golden Bulls to 9 in the Hornets non-league win on Saturday.
The Hornets now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Garner for a non-league test on Monday, March 9. Hillside will play a Titans team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
