The Abbott Panthers baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Milford Bulldogs to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Wampus Cats go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Itasca gained a win over Avalon (Avalon, TX), 13-4, in a league match.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region II District 15 match with a 4-4 record.
