California High School Baseball - Mira Monte loses to Shafter

The Mira Monte Lions baseball team (Bakersfield, CA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA)

The Generals now hold a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Bakersfield for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 15.

Next, the Lions confront the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 17. Mira Monte will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 9-1 non-league win over South (Bakersfield, CA).
