North Carolina High School Baseball - Newton-Conover defeats West Caldwell

March 8, 2022: Lenoir, NC 28645

Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), 8-3 in a league test.

With the win, Newton-Conover upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Red Devils host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to battle the Wolves in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Friday, March 11. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, West Caldwell falls to 0-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, March 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-2. South Caldwell won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Hickory (Hickory, NC)
