The Castro Valley Trojans topped the visiting Hayward Farmers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host California for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 9. Castro Valley will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-1.

The Farmers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates enter the test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, San Leandro was knocked off by Encinal (Alameda, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
