The West Wilkes Blackhawks soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Ashe County Huskies to 0 in the Blackhawks non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Blackhawks face the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 9. West Wilkes will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
