Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Governors confront the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 10. Nelson County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).

The Mountaineers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fleming for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 10.
