Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) and the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), witnessed Bernalillo's softball squad prevail over Pojoaque Valley by a count of 15-0.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league match on Thursday, March 31.
With the loss, Pojoaque Valley moves to 0-1 on the season. The Elks/elkettes host Shiprock (Shiprock, NM) to face the Chieftains in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 15. The Chieftains go into the match with a record of 0-0.
