Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Goliad for a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Aransas Pass will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Skidmore-Tynan falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, March 11. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-10.
