The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Ayala Bulldogs (Chino Hills, CA) and the visiting Claremont Wolfpack (Claremont, CA), saw Ayala's softball squad nip Claremont by a count of 5-1.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Glendora for a Palomares match on Thursday, March 10. Ayala will face a Tartans squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Bonita (La Verne, CA). The Tartans record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Claremont falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA) to face the Braves in a Palomares match on Thursday, March 10. The Braves enter the match with a record of 4-4. Alta Loma won 4-2 in their recent league match against Colony (Ontario, CA)
