Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) and the visiting Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX), witnessed Canutillo's softball squad tip Del Valle by a count of 11-9.

The Eagles now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, March 11. Canutillo will face a Scorpions squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Del Valle moves to 6-10 on the season. The Conquistadores host Parkland (El Paso, TX) to face the Matadors in a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, March 11. The Matadors go into the match with a record of 11-7. Parkland lost 11-5 in their recent league match against Ysleta (El Paso, TX)
