Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights (Austin, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX), 17-9 in a league challenge.
The Knights now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host San Juan Diego Catholic for a TAPPS Division III District 3 challenge on Monday, March 21.
With the loss, Central Texas Christian falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Concordia (Round Rock, TX) to face the Cardinals in a TAPPS Division IV District 4 challenge on Thursday, March 10. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Concordia won 18-10 in their recent league challenge against Faith Academy (Marble Falls, TX)
