Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders (Jacksonville, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Christ's Church Academy Eagles (Jacksonville, FL), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Defenders now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brunswick Christian Academy for a Southeastern Christian challenge on Friday, March 11.
With the loss, Christ's Church Academy falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 10. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
