In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Farmington moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Silver (Silver City, NM) to play the Fighting Colts in a non-league contest on Friday, March 11. The Fighting Colts come into the contest with a record of 3-2. Silver won 7-2 in their recent non-league contest against Lovington (Lovington, NM)
In their next game, the Broncos play the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 12. Kirtland Central will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
