California High School Softball - McLane gets by Madera South

The McLane Highlanders nipped the visiting Madera South Stallions softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Highlanders (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Titans go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Orange Cove was edged by Selma (Selma, CA), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

The Stallions now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Le Grand for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 10. Madera South will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
