The Stringer Red Devils softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Magee Trojans to 8 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Stringer improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Red Devils host Collins (Collins, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region 8 game on Friday, March 11. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-1. Collins lost 22-1 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS) in a 3A Region 5 game, on Thursday, March 10. Magee will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Mize (Mize, MS).
