Texas High School Softball - United South bounces Nixon

March 8, 2022: Laredo, TX 78043

The United South Panthers routed the host Nixon Mustangs softball squad by a count of 19-4 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region IV District 30 battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Alexander was routed by Mission (Mission, TX), 10-3, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Del Rio for a 6A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, March 15. Nixon will encounter a Rams team coming off a 13-10 league win over United (Laredo, TX). The Rams record now stands at 9-5.
