Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a 5A Region II District 13 challenge on Wednesday, March 9. Royse City will battle a Lions squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, North Forney falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Poteet (Mesquite, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 5A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, March 11. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 4-4.
