Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Randleman for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Friday, March 11. Wheatmore will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Trinity falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to face the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
