The Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) baseball trounced the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 13-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest, on Friday, March 10. Highland Tech will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Lions enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC).

The Greenwave now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a Big South 3A contest on Tuesday, March 14. Ashbrook will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Enka (Enka, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-1.
