The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars the host Fike Demons baseball team by a count of 6-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tarboro for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 9. SouthWest Edgecombe will face a Vikings team coming off a 22-9 non-league loss to Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
