North Carolina High School Baseball - Union Pines nudged by Lee County

The Union Pines Vikings baseball team (Cameron, NC), was tipped 5-4 in Wednesday's league outing with the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoke County for a Sandhills 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, March 14. Lee County will confront a Bucks team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 1-4.

Next, the Vikings confront the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 13. Union Pines will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Timberwolves go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Salisbury (Salisbury, NC).
